Identity renewal, logo design and monthly event brochures for Hayal Kahvesi Bistro where DJ’s perform and the food and drinks are served and it’s basement annex Bis where the live performances and concerts take place.

Ressam Arslan Eroğlu’nun, Karşı Sanat’ta Nisan’ın 1’inde başlayıp 25’ine kadar sürecek sergisi Aşk için bir kitap tasarladık Mart ayında. Kitabın girişinde yer alan metni Zeynep Sayın yazdı, artık alışılagelmiş olduğu gibi kitap iki dilli olduğundan, Nazım Dikbaş da İngilizce’ye çevrisini yaptı. Baskı Mas Matbaa’da yapıldı. Boyutu 16.5’a 23 santimetre. 112 sayfa.

We designed this book for painter Arslan Eroğlu’s exhibition which took place in Karşı Sanat between the 1st and the 25th of April, 2009. The text for the book is written by the art theoretician Zeynep Sayın and translated beautifully by Nazım Dikbaş and printed in Mas Printing House. The dimensions are 16.5 centimetres to 23. 112 pages.

Enis Batur’un bazı gezi notlarını ve fotoğraflarını derlediği Şehr’enis kitabının tasarımı. Kitaptaki metin ve fotoğraflar bu tip kitaplarda adet olduğu gibi birbirlerine genel ve biraz da gevşek göndermelerle bağlanmıyorlardı. İlişkileri, neredeyse kelime düzeyinde ve doğrudandı. Dolayısıyla fotoğrafın yazısı ya da yazının fotoğrafı olarak, yani bir çeşit hiyerarşi içinde tanımlanmamaları gerekiyordu. Yetkin çözümlerden birinin bu olabileceğine karar verdi.

Design for the book Sehr’enis, Enis Batur’s collection of travel notes and photographs. The text and the images in this book were not so loosely connected, like it is somehow customary to travel literature. Their relationship was a very direct one, so they couldn’t be described hierarchically, for instance as text to go with the images or images to go with the text. Yetkin thought this could be one of the solutions.
